Phil Caldwell
Managing Director
Growing up in and around the family farm setup on Norlands Farm, the family business turned its hand to drying and retailing dried grass for animal feed. Later on in 2003 the business diversified into drying waste paper crumble for use as a bedding substrate for dairy farms.
Phil began working in dried paper production in 2005 going on to manage the site and setup a sales only arm of the company in 2022, Drymatter Sales Ltd. After this we added a range of other sawdust beddings to our portfolio to cater for the different needs of the Dairy industry.
Phil deals with the day to day organisation and sales, dealing directly with the customers, managing their needs and arranging hauliers in line with production capacity and scheduling needs.
Outside of work, Phil has 2 young children with Lyndsey and enjoys daily swimming at the local pool, beach walks and a strong passion for music and 8 ball pool
Lyndsey Caldwell
Accounts and Director
Lyndsey is a fully chartered accountant by trade and has a keen eye for detail with anything to do with numbers and figures. Qualifying from Liverpool University with a first class degree in Mathematics.
She came into the company in 2022 when she founded the company with Phil that year.
Lyndsey is responsible for all invoicing in and out as well as credit control and all company financial dealings.
Outside of the company she is a keen gym goer, especially the local spin class as well as attending the weekly Park Run on Saturdays. She enjoys ski holidays and planning all the family trips away
